Let me know please:D

Agreed, the radio controls the antenna,
Also check Fuse #1, it also controls the power mirrors.

Thank you. Wow do I feel stupid.

But right now I have the display issues with my MACH CD player/Cass/Radio/CDC, so I dont know if the that is interfering with the antenna as well...

radio display is a common problem,
Use the search function here and type in 'radio display' you'll find many discussions on the topic

this is how I fixed mine, this guy sells instructions to do the repair yourself, or you can pay to have him perform the modification/repair for you- I can't solder worth a damn so I went with the repaired one.

Most likely the antenna motor, etc. is good, but the mast inside is broken.

Try turning your radio on then listen outside the truck to see if you can hear the motor running...

I've looked in to this, and that looks like a great fix. I'm really now into either replacing the OEM radio, or upgrade to a brand-new CD player/radio all together.

Which brings me to my next question....

Can you find a new CD player/radio that can connect to the OEM CD changer?

I'll try that, thank you:)

...and nope- no aftermarket will hook to the factory changer. Best to get a new changer, or a digital input for an MP3. I plug my MP3 into the front of my Pioneer via a patch cord instead of headphones, works great, no need for CD's in the truck now.

Whats what I thought. I'll probably go with something simular to ur Pioneer as well. Thanks Joe

No prob!

Also- if you can find one, the couple-of-year old Pioneer units green lighting match the dash lights perfectly... :D I do not know about the newer ones, or the ones with colors you can change. It's one of hte main reasons I got my Pioneer. I don't like having all dash lights one color and the radio something else- drives me crazy... :D
