I bought my 2001 Sport new and it's done me pretty well with no major problems. The only issue I have with it is cosmetic.
About a year after I bought it those metal button-looking things on the rear window that the lift attaches to started to rust (which causes a disgusting rust trail down the window). It looks TERRIBLE! I've been looking to find replacements for years now and can't find them at all. Anyone know of an after market product that won't rust out?
