which powerplant?

Here is a picture I like to keep around. This is my 4406 and 4404 (AWD) t-cases side my side. The 4404 and 1354 are comparable in size. The 4406 is just a little larger...

Hhhmmmmm...

It could be possible. I need to get my hands On one to be sure.

I have plenty of room for the case to be longer but it's the width that's going to be a deal breaker.

That sure would be preferable to the aa adapter.

Could consider an NP205. I believe it is slightly smaller than a 4406.

will look into.

NP205 a 5 bolt or 6 bolt case?

The AODE and 4r70w are different then the earlier AOD 4wd's I believe as far as the spline count of the output shaft, so transfer case selection is limited without adapters
If I remember correctly

NP205 is standard 6 bolt. I believe spline counts match up too, but good idea to confirm.

Question:

Do mustang throttle bodies fit the intake elbow?

Question:

Do mustang throttle bodies fit the intake elbow?

Yes, but the throttle cable pull direction is backwards. You need to modify the crank arm to match explorer setup. The elbow is only ~65mm, so you won't gain much changing up.

would the reversed direction not make my job easier since the first gen throttle cable pullls in that direction?

I don't think I have enough cable to do a complete uturn from the stock local.

And some one was selling a bbk body I hoped to get for cheap.

Update: I yanked the TB,elbow, coilpacks,EGR, and egxauhst manifolds just now.

These manifolds are an ABOMINATION to automotive engineering!!!!!!!!!

Can't even fit my finger inside the tube! Pathetic! At least half the size of the exhaust port.
