One of the 18" OEM wheels on my 2007 Mountaineer Premier is so badly banged up the tire shop refuses to try to mount a tire on it. So I'm trying to figure out which OEM wheel it is to get a replacement but fordparts.com lists three different 18" wheels with the same part number. Window sticker says they're the Satin Chrome Clad Aluminum wheels and they look like this:
They're the wheels with the stupid plastic cladding, satiny finish not shiny polished finish.
fordparts.com lists a "7.5 X 18" Chrome Plated Alum Wheel" for $309, a "7.5 X 18" Machined Aluminum Wheel" for $624, and a "18 X 7.5 Polished Aluminum Wheel" for $1100 (!!!!). If it's the latter I'll just buy a set of 4 steel wheels and spray paint them satin silver.
