I have a 95 sport w 180k. I am getting a whirring noise or like something is turning in the egr valve. I believe there is a vaccum line that connects to the nipple on the top. There are several hard plastic lines that come off the manifold and one goes to the solenoid right by the TPS. These lines broke and I replaced them. Could the line not be sucking enough air?? Of course the CEL is on. Keep getting code 335. Replaced the sensor and the valve. Still no help. Could the catalytic converter be to blame? Any help would be appreciated. I am novice so take it easy on the terminology.
