I am getting a whistling noise which sounds like it is from the front drivers wheel
I was told it was the wheel hub. Does this sound right?
If it is, what brand do you recommend?

sounds correct to me I have not priced them myself but I am told that the ford part is only a few bucks more... it also comes with a wheel speed sensor already installed and new bolts ....if not original equipment I would you say use Timken bearings they are available at autozone ....
