Yeap, me too. I hope to get my set-up all done and ready for the "show". Cause, you know, we might want to turn this event into an "Annual NIEC truck show-workshop" before starting each season. We can then exchange ideas, present our new mods and simply "show off". Anyway, it's just me, mumbling, waiting for my clients that were suppose to be here 15 minutes ago.

Later,

This sounds great, but I don't know if I should use this as my first Attack on Attica. I will have my shackles and T/T by then, but I don't know what else. You guys think I should sit this one out or go for it? I SHOULD have my cb in by then if my Dad gets his insurance settlement in(my Cobra was taken when his house got burggled).

I would go if I were you. Even if it means just to play in the quary. It's not always just about "wheeling" you know, it's about getting together. Anone that's going, I booked room at Ramada in Lafayette at $59.00 per night. That's a pretty decent motel and the cheapest in the area for now. Here's their phone number:

765-447-9460.

It looks like my plans is this: go straight to the park Friday morning, check-in, have some fun, then check-into the motel in the evening and check out Saturday and go wheeling again entire Saturday before departing for home late in the evening.

Registration and money going out in the morning, my da and my son are going to tag along. Now I'm stock right now, I have two months to get prepared. What do you guys think I should focus on as far as mods for this? Like I said shackle and T/T will be done by then, but what else should I try to get done. Two months is quite a while and I may even have my taxes back by then.

Would stock trucks get damaged at attica? I just don't want to bottom out and damage the truck. It already costs too much on repairs without wheeling.

Travis,
if your truck is stock the quarry is a cool place to see what your truck can do. a body lift is really an advantage for the trails.

Splashman,
body lift would help out alot, and some tires. i havent had my bfg t/a's offroad yet, but the goodyear wrangler a/t's i had on lastyear were far superior to my buddys ranger which had the infamous firestone wilderness tires. the firestones didnt clean out mud or sand very well.

You’ll have a blast in a stock Explorer. Assuming you have four wheel drive, you’ll have no problems on level 1 and 2 trails. Level 3 trails require 32” tires and a moderate lift. Lockers are also highly recommended. Level 4 and up is for maniacs like Riff and Andre!

My suspension is stock and I have 31-inch meats. I hade no problems last time I went to Attica. You’ll have fun.

I have a limited slip diff so that should help. Will wilderness AT tires with low miles have trouble on those class 1 and 2 trails? Yes I have 4WD.

You’ll be fine. Just lower your tire pressure down to 15 pounds or so and you’ll be solid.

Commocozy, buy me dinner and they are yours. If you have a monofleaf, they won't work.

Cam, I like the letters the best!

Splash, where do you live? If you want to drop by my house I will let you borrow my 265/70R16's for the trip. They are 30.8" and yours are 28.9". If you want em, you have to come and get them, but I want them back.

I really appriciate the offer, but I would feel REALLY bad if something happened to them. I have Dayton Timberline A/T 30X 9.50 R15 LT tires on my sport and I'm thinking maybe they would be better. What do you think? I understand the P235/75 R15, but when you guys talk about 30X or 31X I get confused. The Duellers would look better on my Sport anyway.

The height and width, what about the others?

33x12.50 R15 are 33 inches tall, 12.5 inches wide, and are on 15 inch rims. I have more of a problem understang 235/75 R15, is it all in centimeters 23.5 cm, etc, maybe.
Maybe you could help me as well.
