Hum, those stickers are a bit outta my price range. I'm a low bugeted college boy I'd get em if I didn't have to go through the whole mailing a check etc....Um,if I'm around, I'd totally be for the idea of people meeting up for a night....But then again, I'm a youngin too.....

I score Scott 2 points for his idea.....I'd like to get involved in NIEC too...I think I fit the criteria....West burbs of Chicago and I've got an explorer...So I think that works, and the barbeque idea...I like it, but I'd like it more if it were on a weekend that I'm home...It would be fun to get together....
Grnmachine--I believe you were talkin to me about Godmudders in which it doesn't matter about the 95+ explorers for me because I've got a 91. That is, if I read your post correctly.

10/4, i was just commenting on Godmudders also. u had also mentioned that u were going to try and get a 4x4 so i thought i would post what they told me. who knows, your next explorer could be a 95+.
i also agree, a get together would be much easier on the weekend. hope to see u guys soon.

Hehe, yeah I do....And I love every bit of the illegalness! I think this summer I need new bumpers, but I gotta find a good welder and access to some good metal and metal cutting tool.....But that will all come in time....

are you plannin on those bumpers yourself pete? if you want somebody to do it...the fab shop down here that did my shock mounts, and is cutting my solid axle does those. pretty cheap too...but i understand if you want to do it yourself...cause i do too, but i don't have the resources either..my dads welder is a little wimpy...

Yeah, well my local cops don't like my truck much, or they really like it and just like to warn me because it's a way to stop me and look at it....I don't necessarly have to do it, not to mention I want it done right. So I'd have some one do it with me, but I want to be very picky on the design etc...

A get together sounds great. Like I said, January 20th is open for me. Place? Name some kind of fast food joint somewhere near Schaumburg. That would be safe and close enough for everybody. Personally I'd prefer a time when the weather does suck so bad. Where we have time to go out and look at the Explorers without being in layers of clothes. But that is just my opinion.

Why can we not have a meet now, and when they weather gets nice. Personaly i would like to meet up with everyone from IL as mych as possible. When i use to have my Chevy Beretta we would have a Mini Beretta fest 2 times a year in the Chicago area! Beettas sucked but that is besides the point we kept close and everyone knew everyone! NIEC seems to be right on WE NEED MORE INVENTS. Even if they are just little get together and not major off road events.

Andre, I hate to ruin your day, but you are wrong on one thing.....My truck is grey/sliver.....Some time in early March if people wanna get together I'm willing...I've got spring break then and I've got one 3 day weekend in February....Other than those days, I doubt I will be home till May....Damn, that is a long way away

I'm putting together the next NIEC (Northern Illinois Explorer Club) newsletter and I will be asking everyone to suggest a time and place. I don't mind having it at my house again. Hey! MOAB boys and girls. How and when is everyone of you going, whoever's going anyway. I'm booked from 18th to 21st at Silver Sage Motel. It's a double room so there's still room for someone to stay with me. Price is cheap, like $44.95 per night. Let me know!! Also, if anyone wants to go but does not want to take his/her rig I have room in my truck. I'm driving.

So 20th doesn't work. OK. I'll live. Eric, let's set a date sometime in March then. March 10th would be fine although 17th is St. Pats so we might be able to do it then perhaps???????????
