Chicago burb here, we should organize maybe a meeting, it'd be cool to meet some fellow X enthusiasts, maybe take over a restaurant??? If anyones interested, throw me an email, maybe we could plan a dinner and then check out each others X's in the parking lot afterwards or something.. anyway, just a throught.. let me know.. Im about 15 minutes from downtown Chicago (when there is no traffic)

oh hell yeah! Maggiano's in Old Orchard? Im right near.. 5 minutes... I live for their eggplant pasta.. bad ass anyway... Id really like to get something like this started.. you know.. get in hte loop and all.. (hehe).. so as I said before, throw me an email, and ill get an e-mailing list started for us... let get something going again

What's up guys. I just picked up an X a few weeks ago and found this board almost immediately. What a load of info here! I had a Ranger and hung out on the fordranger.com board for a few years. When the Ranger's motor took a dive on me a month ago, I figured it was time to move on up. Since I pretty much have a base model, I'm wondering what mods would be some of the first to do. I don't do much 4 wheelin yet, but that could always change. I do tow with it so I'll probably get a tranny cooler since this one does not have one. I did have to install a tubular draw-tite hitch and wiring harness to get me towing our pop-up camper. So far so good. Getting together sometime does sound good, but I'll tell ya, I'm booked up a lot of the time until fall. Good to find a well run m-board here .

LoL. i bet... I can tell already that you people sound like a great group of people I cant wait to meet you all... One thing though, Im more of a streetable explorer kind of guy, The center of gravity it too high as it is, so Im thinking theres no lift kits going in.... will that pose a problem? =P

on the plus side.. I am SURE that the truck will never ever ever be lowered.. but its getting that performance handling package that police explorers have..

oh, bother........ a magic word... OK. forget about Jeeps. oh well, might as well FLAME ME! X terras, Suzus and Zukis....... let's get an Explorer meeting going guys and girls..... girls? uhum! any ladies in this group? anyway, thread has been going around for a while now. I'd like to get together if at all possible at some point. Would you guys like to crash at someone's house again perhaps? I know my neighbors won't mind. but wait! I should first welcome new additions to our club!! WELCOME! would that do it? OK now, I'm pretty sure that we will not have any problems with "street" Explorers..... any Explorers are welcome...... you don't have to do anything too. Once in a while we do have meetings (looks like winter is the best for them since we have nothing better to do then) and we do go off-road once in a while. If you want to join us on an expedition like that you can and you don't have to take your truck with. You can ride with someone else.... oh, boy.... I'll stop now... I know, I know, I can talk.........
