I have looked everywhere i can think of for a way to mount my winch (to the front) without having to custom fab a plate to the frame. Can anyone give me some suggestions are places to check out for either a brushguard/mount or a bumper set? I'm trying not to drop a fortune so i can save the $$ for the lift so keep that in mind.

Thanks in advance

I've looked around a bit before, and pretty much the only thing I could come up with is either a custom bumper, or attaching a front reciever and using a Multi Mount winch (WARN) that slides into a 2"reciever tube. Short of that, find a welder and torch and fab up a mount behind a stock bumper, may be a bit of a bugger, but would be pretty original.

There are a few options, Warn makes a Trans4mer (black) that will work. WAAG has a brushguard with a winch mount on it, check out Ray Lobatos (sp?) truck. Its hard to find. Also, TJM has a blem sale that has a winch mount bumper for a 93-97 ranger that you can fab up mounts for. Costs $350, has been done on this site. Also, CRL customs make a pre-runner style winch mount for about $350. I think they have changed their name. Ive been searching for a while and unless you get a front receiver hitch (JC Whitney - $100) and a winch mounting plate ($60-70) you are going to spend about $400.

Try these sites:

Good luck, and let us know what else you come across.
