I've been looking to buy the replacement nozzles with the light in them, but depending on the site you either just buy them or choose the type of car. Are the nozzles universal or do I have to try to find a site where I can select by make/model?

not sure but i know that they are illegal in many states because they do not allow your eyes adjust to the lighting conditions correctly. They are bright enough that your eyes dont dialate the same as if they werent there thus hindering your vision.

Well, does anyone know if they are legal in MI. I've seen people with them before, but then again that doesnt mean they're legal.

I don't think they work with our trucks 'cause our washer nozzles are integrated into the cowl.

Their legality depends on the state you live in and it has nothing to do with how bright they are. I have installed 4 pairs of these on trucks and cars of friends of mine. They really aren't very bright at all...they just make a little colorful spot on your hood (looks pretty cool IMO). Here in Louisiana, ANY red, blue, or green forward facing light is illegal to have on while driving (regardless of placement). My sis has green--got pulled over. My girlfriend has blue--got pulled over. My friend has red--got pulled over. They are illegal here because of thier color. Now in Texas, my girlfriend drives with her blue ones on all the time and has never had a problem with the cops there. It just depends on your state.

And none of what I just said really matters anyway, because they will not work on the Explorer because the washer nozzles are in the cowl.

sorry, but I think those lights are ghey

That was "enlightening" Kontrol-trac. Many of us wondered.

I thought everyone was entitled to his/her own opinion here? Was I even talking to you?

No aftermarket lights in PA

I know for one thing that pennsylvania is very strict when it comes to neons and such. My sister was pulled over for her green washer lights, got a warning, had to take them off or risk a ticket the next time she got caught. When we went to the police station to have the car "inspected" to make sure we took them off, the state cops told us that any aftermarket lights you put on your car are illegal, even FOGLIGHTS. He said you wont get pulled over for foglights, but they arent even legal. They claim that washer nozzles and neons are a Distraction to other drivers. Just wanted to share my experiences with those lights around here. later all

i installed them on my 91 x
they were a pain but well worth it

ps u cant bolt them on
this is stupid but i super glued mine to the body

note to self: dont move to pa!! ;)
