Wire Routing

OK guys I need some assistance. I haven't done any auxiliary lighting since the 70's -80's. I plan on putting some lights on my '02 XLT and was wondering what the best/easiest way was to get the wiring for the switches through the firewall. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks, Rondo

Usually I follow the hood release cable and drill through the rubber gromet around the cable, push a coat hanger through the drilled hole to to tape the wires to and pull the wires into the cabin.
