1) Yes, I searched and read every thread.
2) Yes, I read and copied Big Country's how-to thread on wiring up memory seats.

Now......I got the passenger seat wires figured out and the motors work fine.
I am trying to figure out the memory wires for the drivers side.
This has been asked several times, but the threads never had a reply. CAN THE MEMORY function be bypassed and only the normal power seat functions wired up?
I really don't need the memory stuff.
I have tried all sorts of wiring combos but only get power to the lumbar motor. Nothing else.
I'm sure there is some sort of wiring combo that might work, but I don't want to fry anything.
Anybody with help or experience with this problem? All info is appreciated.
Thanks,
Ken

Big country makes mention of connecting certain wires to the "Data Link Connector" (DLC)
I am not sure what this is. Is this on all Explorers or is it a memory seat thing only? I cannot find this piece in any of my shop manuals.
Anybody?
Ken
