HELP!!! I have a 93 Navajo with 160000 miles I went out and tried to start the beast and I would only get a click noise. I have a new battery changed battery post connectors new starter and new solinoid. After disconnecting the battery and replacing the starter and hooking it up it would fire up no problem. Then a couple of days later it would would just do the same thing. CLICK changed battery post connectors and solinoid and then It would start up no problem. Now today it is raining and went to start it up and again CLICK no go. Can anybody think of anything else. Please Help :banghead:

Have you tried jumping the solenoid under the hood with a screwdriver? Make sure the key is on, trucks in P or N first :)

I am going out on a limb here, if you just replaced some wiring, changed the battery, etc I would start there.

Click click, means the starter is not getting enouhg juice. This means its either the + wire or the battery ground strap. My $$$ is on the battery ground cable. its commin for them to corrode inside. I have replaced every single wire on my truck that has anything to do with the battery or charging system because I have 265K miles on her now.......

check your positive battery cable for corrosion on the inside. try bypassing battery cable using jumper from battery positive to starter , then try to start, if it starts battery cable probably bad. This happened to my 91
