Working head unit 2016-2019 PIU?

I have a 2018 PIU and was wondering if anyone has found a working head unit or bigger touch screen that works. Any details would be appreciated.

2016 and later aren't easy to install aftermarket radios. Metra, for example, makes install kits for 2015 and down that allow aftermarket radios to be installed. I've read about a firm called Phoenix that makes a Tesla style radio for these rigs...but have read lots of negative reviews, too.

There are a couple firms selling upgrades to SYNC 3 that are around $2000 using Ford gear. There are a couple individuals who have done the same with used parts and re-wiring things on their own.

Not hard to do, just need to source parts and program it for your application after the install, it can be done for $800 or so, but it takes time to source the individual parts.
