Wrench for change oil in axles

Hi guys!

Continue to restore my explorer.
Wanna change level of iol in axles and add if need.
But stuck with find correct wrench for open the hole in front and rear axle.
Would say thanks if anybody give link to tool with correct wrench size.

3/8” ratchet. The square end fits the square hole in both the front and rear plugs.
If you only have metric in your country, 13mm would be the equivalent.

Ok. For rear axle yes, it fit but need extension... as wrench short...

For front axle it not hole and like small finger piece... with square.
What use for this?
 






Oh that’s right, the front is not a hole, it’s the opposite. Been a while since I checked mine.
I just use a crescent wrench, adjustable wrench.
And yes, on the rear you need the extension, as shown in my photo.
There’s no special tools to do this.
 






They make 8 point sockets that will fit these well. I’d just use an adjustable wrench like suggested above.
