2017 explorer platinum
Hi everyone. My wife has a 2017 Explorer Platinum.
She went to start the car and the infotainment unit would not come. So she took my car and left. I went to turn hers in to see what's going on.

The audio from the radio came in instantly but the display took a long minute or two to boot up. Like it had done a hard reboot. There was a wrench icon on the screen that said check owners manual. I turned off the car. Grabbed a sca tool. This time no wrench icons and no codes stored so......

Has this or similar happened to you?
Hope I described this ok enough.
If mileage matters we have 48000 km on it.

Unless cleared the codes are still there just not active for the moment.
You can check oil and coolant levels. With the electrical symptom I would be leaning towards a charging/battery issue. You can load test the battery and test charging system voltage as a first step.
