I just got my tv and I want to put my x-box in the truck. what is the easiest way to get power to it? Do they make a 12v cable or do I have to get a power converter? Or is there another way?
xbox doesnt have a cabel out..... well at least microsoft hasnt put one out im not sure about 3rd party companies......I would just get the power inverter..... u can even hook that up to the battery and use your outlet for a radar dector or something
power inverters are your friend! i'd just call it an excuse to hard wire one. you'll be amazed how many uses you can find for it once you have it.
our explorers have dual cig lighters. if you just wire the inverter into the extra one on the passenger side its already fused and its the easiest thing in the world. i don't know if you ahve power front seats but if you dont' you could stick it under the passenger side. i do have power passenger seats so mine is located in the rear of my truck. then you can run to walmart or the like and get a short extension cord with three or four outputs at the end and wire it in so that you can take the power up front.
power inverters are a great thing. i'm going to start my career in august as a private investigator and thats a very handy thing to have because you have to sit in your car for hours on end. the only downside is i will be working for my dad (he owns the business). it makes great money though
