Im just getting ready to fix the ticking that has plagued my 4L since ive got it. Planning on getting the rocker arms, shaft, and pushrods from delta cam which they claim solves the problem most of the time.
Ive read that the 4L lifters are actually not too bad but the weak point is the actual rocker arms.
Should I just replace the pushrods and rocker shafts or dig right in and rip the heads off take out the lifters and clean them with solvent aswell??
Is there any particular way of knowing that the lifters have collapsed without taking them out?
thanks
