I'm sure you get this a lot but I need help:
I started on the now INFAMOUS Firestone Wilderness A/Ts but then Mr. Nasser was nice enough to buy me a brand new set of Pirelli Scorpion A/Ts. The Scorpions are ok. I know they are an agressive tread - and boy do they sound like it. I can handle the noise, I just think they are not as good in the snow as I had hoped. Don't get me wrong though - they are way better than the Firestones were.
This is what I've had recommended to me:
BF Goodrich/Michelin
Bridgstone Dueler
Cooper Discoverer
Les Schwab Wild Country
What do you think? (btw, they are 255 70 16s for a 99 Explorer Sport - 2Dr) I'm heading over to tirerack next to read reviews
Thanks!
edit: oh, one more thing, I've got about 70K miles on my tires now so that should tell you how I drive and I rotate my tires!)
