Today I got a Sharpie marker on my seat. It's a strip about 4 inches long. I can't beleive I did it. Ruined a perfectly good seat.:( Is there anything I that might get it out? Or am I doomed to a Sharpie line or leather swap? Me:shoot:

Sharpie is alcohol based most of the time rubbing alcohol or some kinda paint thinner will take it off. I don't know how good it would be for the upolstry but anything is better than sharpie all over.

Try some grease lightning.

Isn't it always something??!!
I've had good luck using 'Ooops' sticky label cleaner. I get it at Wal Mart in the paint section. It is good at lifting a lot of marks and stuff. Whatever you use, go easy on that cloth since a lot of the cloth materials tend to knapp up if rubbed too hard/too much.
Let us know what you use/results.

ask your mom
mom's seem to know how to get stains out of everything!!! hehehe at least my mom does

I suggest Rubbing alcohol too. It might not be the greatest for the leather, but it will be better than the sharpie line....

That's what I was looking for. I have oxyclean and opps also.So that's the order I'll try them in.

The seat is cloth, I think it'd be easier to get out pf leather. I've been thinking about a leather swap, maybe this is the last straw.
ask your mom
she wasn't home:p

Definitely isopropyl alcohol (rubbing alcohol). We use it all the time at work to take permanant marker off stuff. Just make sure you test the material in a hidden spot first in case the alcohol messes up the fabric color.

Definately use some greased lighting.

I had a 4"-5" mark on the side of my cloth seat when i bought my explorer and just recently thought I would try some greased lighting on it and waa la, gone!

Works great on any stain, I think.
