MC Racing was having a dyno day yesterday and a buddy invited me to come along because he was going to dyno his 2014 Jetta GLI that he just had tuned. Had a great time and met some new people.

Car
2002 Ford Explorer Limited 4x4 4.6V8 with 184,000 miles
-Removed the 4x4 fuses so I could dyno in 2wd

Mods
-91 Tune from Hensonperformance.com
-K&N CAI
-3rd cat removed with 2.5" exhaust through a Flowmaster 70

Best run was the 3rd pull. Made 216.31 hp and 269.92 tq

I think the loop is the converter locking up? Anyone have any ideas?

Not bad for WHP, good for you. I bet it was a great time!

It was a great time! I was just glad I wasn't the weakest car there!

Noticed the vids aren't showing up. Let me fix that.

Explorer

That is a nice looking truck!
I love the pictures of the rear wheel spinning.
Sounds good in the video's too.

Sounds awesome! Great numbers! Truck looks awesome :)

Those numbers on the board are causing me to miss my z32. Such a fun car.

Cool

I like your grill insert.

Where did you get your grill insert?

Thanks! Not as fast as your beast, but it does put a smile on my face :D

Thank you! It was a fun day and as you can see, odd cars were dyno'd... I do have a 93 tune that I would like to try sometime, but I doubt I'll be throwing it on the rollers anytime soon.

And thank you! Grille insert was bought off of ebay and shipped to Turdle so he could powder coat it black. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Street-Scen...ash=item46405daf65:g:Jv8AAOSw3ydV5A3w&vxp=mtr

Wicked mate! :D

Tires

How is the traction on those tires?
I have been looking at different tires and wheels for at least a year and those were one of the tires I came across. Just wanted to find out what someone thought of their traction capabilities.

Thanks lynchy! You've got some slick cars over there that I wish we could get here!!!

I am on my second set and feel they are very good tires for the money. Wear like iron and do decent in the snow/ice but I give more credit to being 4x4 and using common sense. I know Lightning guys are fans of them, so maybe they'd grip okay at your power levels?
