Can anyone tell me how I remove the stock overhead DVD unit from an 02 explorer w/ a sunroof. Im going to replace it. If you have pics also that would be great
When my DVD went blank i was about to remove it so i checked the FSM book and found that there should be 3 screws and a 2-3 hook type of fasteners.
1 screw is in the DVD storage bin while the other two are visible near the screen.
After the screws are out it should slide L/R? and pull down.
Never did take it down as next trip it worked.
thanks alot, now i took it down to replace it with another stock dvd player i got from ebay i put the new one up but there are two black wire that have like 8-holes, im not sure what that gets hooked up with, and im not getting any power to my dvd player does that have anything to do with it
