Today was the day, not only to wash the inside of my girlfriends CRV and put new foam on her hubcaps, and make a pot rack and hang it up in my kitchen, but I also made my lower mesh grill. For the upper grill, I used Krylon Gloss black for plastic and a clear coat. This time I decided to try to use Plasti-dip
It's a flat black color. The first few pics of the grill are of the first coat, then second, then third. I may do a 4th in the morning and I'm debating about doing some clear.
This was my cutting process for getting the shape I wanted
First coat of Plasti-dip:
2nd coat:
3rd
Lets see how it looks all together:
first we gotta clean it. When I used to detail cars, this was one of my favorite products to use!!
Then we have to dress it. My preferred dressing. Very durable! Only one coat and this is after it dried for 20 minutes. No fake, wet gloss shot here hahaha
Befrore cleaning and dressing:
Hope yall like.
