Need help on rear seat of 96 Explorer

I posted in the general forum but have gotten much help so thought I would try here. I have got to the point on figuring out that the cable assy that goes through the (RR) back seat is not releasing the latch on the inside of the assy. The parts sheet says that the cable assy # 61382, is serviced in the seat back frame. Great! but how do you get at it to service it and is there an adjustment to just tighten up the cables? Seems like a real simple problem but I can't get to it. Any help would definately be appreciated. Gary

Find the fix? I'm stuck the same way. Pulled on the core of the cable with a small hook but could not get it to release the inboard latch.

Down a number of posts is a discription of the fix that worked for me later when the seat in my 96X wouldnt go down.
