2000 ford explorer 6cyl.
I have a 2000 ford explorer xlt that is throwing codes p304,5,6 meaning a misfire happened in bank 2 only. plugs and wires look good. there was a wire showing metal, so i fixed that and it still misfires. i also replaced the fuel filter. i dont think it is a fuel delivery problem. sometimes the engine shifts well, accelerates well, and sometimes it shutters, has trouble shifting. during an episode, if i put the gas pedal to the floor, it hesitates for a bit then downshifts and takes off. sometimes it backfires during this episode. any help is appreciated. thanks...

bank 2 lean

In one of the posts in your other thread you stated you thought you had a lean code for bank 2 of your SOHC V6. After resetting the codes, it takes a while for the fuel trims to adjust. You may get the lean code again after driving for a while. I suggest that you check your intake manifold for leaks: Lean condition procedure
