I have a 2000 Explorer, OHV 4.0 V6. Had the P0113 code in for IAT sensor. No check engine light, just the code in. Reset a few times and it comes back. Ordered a new MAF unit, old one has four pins, new one has six pins, and the plug has six wires. Has anyone come across this? Is the new one an updated version? I put it in and now have P0171 and P0174, and its running rich. I'm thinking it's not the correct MAF. Any info would be appreciated, thanks.

P0113 is a code for the air intake temp sensor. why did you replace the MAF sensor? are they both part of the same unit on your model?

the replacement MAF should have looked and connected exactly the same as your old one. you probably got the wrong part. if your old one had 4 pins and this one has 6 pins, i'm not even sure how you managed to connect it. P0171 & P0174 are lean codes, yet you say it's running rich ???

The air intake sensor is the Mass air flow sensor.
