I made the swap with the m50d 5 speed and kept the tranfer case. all mechanically is sound, but i cannot get the engine run right. it cuts out at about 2500 RPM and runs really louwsy and loss of power.
I did:
keep the engine hanress the same,
wired CPP switch acording to wiring diagram (engine starts ok).
did not make any changes to the PCM
so now i get several codes complaining about the missing transmission signals that are no longer there....
I got a used PCM (ebay) for the same year but manual trans. will not fire the engine. cranks, but no ignition. at the moment do not know if it is injector or ignition issue, but swapming back to Auto PCM starts write up.
Question: is there any engine/PCM harnes differences between the Auto and Mnaul? same year.
this year is before PATS so i should not have issue with the security ... right?
