Can't get into Low1

I can't get it into Low 1 All others work fine help.

1st gear, or 4 Low?

If 4 Low, are you putting the truck in neutral, foot on the brake while completely stopped, and then turning the switch to 4 Low?

When you say it won't go in, do you mean the trans won't move in 1, the gearshift/shift indicator on the dash won't go all the way to 1, or...

It will not go into first gear. I have done everything I can think of.

who uses low1? just kidding, check the linkage it does bind. mine did was having trouble shifting into reverse and it was just a linkage issue.
