Forgive me if I am posting this in he wrong place... but I have a 92 Explorer with the auto hubs... which in spite of all their bad press, for my use have been good and useful and performed fine.
After 25 years and early 250K miles, the part I think is known as the "actuator cam" on one side is getting kind of ratty and I want to replace it. So far all I can find is the entire auto hub assembly, but I just need the cam (I'd like to get 2, just in case, ya know?). The gaskets behind it need replacing too but if I have to I can make those.
Anyone have any idea or source? I can go to a pick and pull yard I suppose but rather not.
Thanks for any help
