Hi, I noticed transmission oil on the fan shroud. I wiped it off and it came back, but it's hard to see where it's coming from with the air from the fan
PO replaced the radiator.

Those 2 hoses on the plastic tank are water ?

Is there a diagram I can look at to check the hoses?

Any thoughts?

Thanks

hiya,
those two lines on the side of the radiator are your transmission cooler. i would check if the connections are tight and also spray down the lines/connections with brake clean and see if there is any visible seepage. most likely the leak is in that area.

Thanks I'll try that. Is it worth adding an extra cooler too?

it really depends on how your truck is set up and how you use it. but rule of thumb is a that you cant cool your transmission fluid enough, so that wouldnt be a bad idea. sorry not talking from experience as i have a manual transmission in my explorer, but many in my wheelin group have autos.

found the problem, the top brass connector the coolant line screws into was weeping and fan was blowing it everywhere.
