Hey guys... my 91 5spd has about 150k miles on it, and its starting to slip. Ive not lost use yet, and so wanted to look into my options. Obviously Id rather fix somethin now, before big things go break. haha. Any ball park numbers for tranny fixin? Like I said... a 91 with a 5spd 4x2... when you get on the gas is shakes and slips... i know your all thinking clutch, but i dont think so... Ill have that checked also, but it was changed less than 8k miles ago...

I got quoted for a 99 with auto for an exchange tranny = $1500 inlc labor
If you drop it yourself and bring it to a tranny shop it should be a lot less...

not sure about a manual but was quoted $2000.00 with labor and new torque converter...i ended up buying a used one from junkyard for $450..then paid $300 for install and $300 to tell me my other on was toast which I figured anyway...
