Hey guys,
Seems like a silly question but I am not 100% on this one. I recently put 30x9.5 tires on some 15x8 wheels these are Firestone Destination A/T tires which are LTs. I am not quite sure what I should have these things inflated to. The sidewall says its max PSI is 55 if I recall correctly. This is on a 1998 Ford Explorer Sport 4x4. I currently have them inflated to 35 psi all around. Is this not enough? Thanks!

certainly not enough 35 sounds like a stock number. go about 5 under the max. with 35 you will probably get some excessive wear and decreased mpg. If you live on a beach than ignore this whole reply.

I ran my 285/75/16 BFG T/A K/O's at 40psi and now I have 33x12.50x15 Goodyear DuraTrac's at 40psi and haven't had any issues with wear, etc ....

Sounds good! I think i'll start by putting it at about 45 psi. Hopefully I don't end up bouncing around like a basketball! I've never owned LT tires before so this is all new to me.
