18x9 saleens

I'm new here, i'm a mustang guy but I just got a 98 mountaineer 5.0 2WD, figure it'd make a cool sleeper....but anyway....I've seen a few pics of explorers with 18x9 saleen replicas. I was thinking of going with these wheels and 255-55R18 tires. Will these go on with no problems? Will they rub at all?

thanks

thanks, I guess i'll find out soon enough, going to order them tomorrow

I have a 92 Explorer 2WD with 18x9 Saleens in front, and 18x10's in the rear. My front tires are 255/55-18 and the Rears are 285/50-18. I am lowered 5" and the only place I rub is on the innder fender well.

255/55-18 was the STOCK tire on the Saleen Explorer. So don't worry about fitment.

I've got 18x9 saleens on my 99 Explorer. I'm running a 265/60/18. Initially, I thought it wasn't rubbing, but it looks like it rubs every so slightly in the front, on the sway bar.

Also, the saleens I got, required a 1/4" spacer in the front to clear the dust cap on the hub and keep the center cap in the wheel.

18x9 +24mm offset will fit fine.

thanks for the help everyone
