Project Baby Runner/Mini Crawler: R.J.'s Navajo Build

...With my stiff rear end, all you have to do is watch the Mcneil whoops, and that's what my truck looks like going thru the whoops...:p:

..I'll stay as the tow rig, but we might always have a rematch race ..:burnout:

i think that the springs are so soft that when i load it up for the trails and have four people in the car, the rear will sag down pretty low

Seeing all these mods makes me regret selling my 91. but now im working on a 98, trying to find a way to lift the front, my Torsion bars are maxed. any ideas?

PRND21, i'm sure RJ would offer help, but you should start a thread of your own, don't post in someone elses. ;)

O ya, RJ, he lives right in Jim's neighborhood.

hey no problem  nice looking shackles man.

this thread is specific to my car only. there are threads that are about your year of explorer and lifting them and you can post in there and probably get some good feedback. or you can start your own thread abotu your car, kinda like what i did, and the experianced guys in here would give you a hand in advice on what to do.

im not an expert on IFS (independant front suspension) but for 4wd i thik you need an actual lift kit to raise it any higher than the torsion bars allow. if its 2wd you can get lift spindles

wait, prnd21, do you live around the corner from me and you were selling a 2door square body explorer a long time ago? if your the guy im thinking of, you go down your street to the T and make a left and theres the navajo and a bronco

broke the shock mount off. it was no fun driving without rear shocks :(

beams155.jpg

i think it was because my limit straps were to short so the shocks were acting as the limiting factor
