MAC TB and C&L Plenum added!

James hooked me up with this combo...have discerned a nice improvement in mid range power...

i like how clean that plenum is, how much did it run you? did you attach the break booser bend piece or did that come from james as well?


P.s. looks like MY engine bay!! 'sept urs is MUCH cleaner... road gunk gets on everything in alaska...so nasty...

$119 plus shipping for the plenum. Some local guys custom fit that bend piece for me and tapped another line--worked out great. SO many more performance shops here in SoCal (compared to NYC!) for me to outsource to. Leaves more time to keep my engine clean!

I got a set up just like that but with a custom ported and polished Trick Flow plenum.... Made it sound good didn't it? Mine sounded different when i punched it. I also threw in a custom ported and polished TB.

By the way, have you noticed a drop in MPG? After installing mine I noticed a drop, just curious.
Also just noticed you had the MSD blasters.......you notice any improvements there?

MPG has been holding steady--it improved a bit after I added the intake, headers, exhaust, and tune. Have not noticed much of a change with the new TB/Plenum.

Performance gains with the MSD Blasters have been negligible in my opinion.
