I'm in.

Bump, what time are you guys planning on being out there.

The other guys are going to be out there Fri-Sunday camping over at the Fancy Creek campgrounds. I am going to hit the ORV Sunday between 11:30-12:00. Anyone is welcome. YellowFord I'll be looking for you. There will be 2 lifted 1st gen sports Maroon in color- 6"lift (about) Mine is the one with a winch-- My brother is the other. :-)

I'll make it out Sunday, as tomorrow is fixing time for my window.

Man, I am gonna be working all weekend to pay off the tires I just ordered for the Ranger. Earliest I would be there is around 3, and probably not til 4:30-5ish Saturday or Sunday. I will probably sit this one out, but post what CB channel you will be operating on so I can find you if I manage to sneak out early somehow.

Doesn't look like I'll be out there on Sunday since we went today instead it's all Ellessar65's fault.

When me and Jason were driving around we found another explorer it was exploradora all the way from Nebraska.

No pictures of mine since I was in the lead most of the time that hill had a definite pucker factor to it.

Now on to all of the videos some pretty crazy as the green Explorer seems to think it can fly.

Some of the videos got messed up since their just from my camera, looks like it was taking in too much light.

And the cj-7 we had to help out after he made this hill, he broke the splines coming out of the rear of the transfer case.

Lol, I owned those Jeeps. Too bad we were busy towing them out of the park and didn't get videos of it.

Poop!!-- broken front lift bracket I I am so upset too.

too bad i'm just now seeing this. i would have definitely gone. maybe next time.

Note to self: Don't let people talk me into beating on the DD any more. (as if its hard to talk me into wheeling) I got some work ahead of me figuring out what the clicking/thumping/grinding noises are, and fixing them. And fixing my mirror, and my rockers.... Great time though!

I think it was more of you being like I can make it up that then going half way and asking us if you could make it all, with us just saying "give er hell" and thats what you did. There wasn't any trying to talk you into it.

and now I need a new transfer case, since i destroyed mine, lol. At least we figured out what the problem was, and now I have a spare drivers side CV. Since we replaced a perfectly good one.

Will this transfer case work, I seem to know very little about v6 Explorers lol.

those are all 1354 cases. They won't play nice with my GEM module. I need one from a second gen, a 4405. No real hurry though, its doing fine as a 2wd.

I thought that was what you wanted lol, if you just want a replacement case those are everywhere. I just keep laughing that your driving a lifted 2wd:p:.

Ahh Tuttle Creek, how I miss thee... Had much much fun there. Like going way back where the park rangers cant/wont go, and camping whith a nice camp fire =] I know which hill you're talking about too, its fun ;) Can't wait to go back.

Careful man, I had similar noises from mine right before it spit chunks out the side of it, leaving me with a 1/4 inch wide, 3 inch long hole to JB Weld up. Not fun in 110 degree Mojave desert heat. Drained tcase, patched, refilled, drove home =]

Get a 1354 manual from a 91ish ranger. That's what I did, and so glad it went down liek that. The tcase is now in my second explorer and still going strong. You'll need the front driveshaft from a 96 with the double cardan style joint where it meets the transfercase to make it work though.

Hey thanks for the good time down at tuttle! Have my driverside rear seal leaking now...lol, went to fix and snapped the bolt going into the pin in my carrier. Going to get it fixed hopefully. Good video and pics yellow!
