April Big Bear Run

I'll be in the immediate area Friday morning. Me and a friend will be running Holcomb Creek Friday afternoon. If I'm able to, I'll stop by your camp on Friday for a visit.

Hey guys I found my 33's in running springs. There BFG AT, with 20%-30% left on them. 5 for $50 bucks.. Is it worth it?

Pic of them....

they sound bald to me.
If you wait till my taxes get here I will have my 50% worn Remington Mud Brutes for sale el cheapo. 33x12.50. They have been EXCELLENT tires, I would sipe them though if I had them new again.
hahaha
$50 for 5 is worth it if they have some tread left on them, but not if they are bald

Jamie make me a deal and I'll wait and buy yours off you. I'd rather get them from some one I trust if used. I can wait, I gonna have to buy new wheels anyway.

Those look very bald. Only reason I'd buy them is if you were worried about what needed trimming for 33's. Then you could mount em and not worry about rubbing until you got it all trimmed away. (Thats what I did with RangerX's 35's way back when -they were in about the same condition)

Well sence there's nopromblems with fitting them, i'm back to drawing board

Ordered it? Why don't you go down to Pep......OH I SEE!

Must be one of them special high output ones! Hope to see ya!

How in the world do you do it Jefe? hahaha
Now can you get that map on my palm GPS please so if Bill and I do come up we can get right to you?

hahaha oh man....

Dave I prefer the Autozone special, lifetime free replacement POS!
I am on my third one already in 2 years! Everytime it squeeks or gets week I take it in and demand a new one. :)

Autozone cheapo parts are okay if you can afford to keep replacing them for free.

I want to upgrade, but $$$ is too tight.
Hows the suspension coming?
Seems we have all had our share of projects lately!
Bill and his broken radius arm, touchy shift motor, and popping U joints, me and my A4LD swap (2 in 8 months! YEAH!) and I knocked my front bumper off at Los Coyotes last time and thats just scratchin ghte surface!

I dont know if I will make it up there Sat ir not, I am a little nervous as this new A4LD only has 60 miles on it as of today...running VERY well though, even 15 degrees cooler then the old unit...so we shall see....

Stic-O, forget those tires, I replace mine when they get to around 1/3 tread because of the loss of off-road traction. They look less than 20% in the pictures.

One more day, then WHEELIN!!!!!

I've decided to just make a day run out of this. :( I have too much other stuff to do. So I'll be up there Sat morn, hopefully with Jamie! Should I find you guys at the campsite? What channel? What time you want to hit trail?

Lets use channel 4 and we could meet at the campsite around 9am?

Since you were being so quiet Bill, I had a feeling you were going to make it a day trip. :nono: What about the :chug: ????

I'm sure you will handle my share of the :chug:

I need to make some $ on Sunday. (Tikis)

I'll be there by 9am, assuming my new steering shaft comes tomorrow, and I get my front U joint replaced. :D

I too will only be up saturday. Did anyone else hear what I heard last night on the weather? SNOW there saying now in big bear! Rain is interesting enough, now maybe snow.

Sure, just let me load Delorme Handheld edition on, and load up the map. Perhaps you'd want a GPS to connect to that palm? I'd be glad to loan you one of mine. :)

Jefe, My palm is the Garmin GPS Ique 3600, thats why I got it. I needed a GPS that would work in the truck and boat so I got the palm version. :)

I need to buy memory for it because I cannot get detailed enough maps in there yet.

I am planning to join Bill on Sat morning, I ma headed to his house tonight to help him with his U joint.

Snow = Maybe I will lead a run! hahaha
I miss wheeling in the snow! Just makes it that much more interesting :)

Snow, cooooooooooooooooll.

Well, I also bought one of those little blinking red led lights that I will stick on my trailer or truck, whichever is closer to the main forest road, to make the camp site more visible for the weary traveler.

See you all up there!
