F-150 Pillar Pod?

Anyone ever try one in a 2nd gen? if so what year did you get? I am trying to get an a-pillar pod that will hold 3 gauges.

But they don't make a triple gauge pod. It's either a single or a double.

I have a silly question, do those gauges just plug in somewhere or is there some hacking to do? Section, that project in the first link you provided look great!
