Brian, is there a computer flasher/tuner you can buy for the Fiesta yet? The reason people lose low end power is because increasing exhaust size leans the engine. The lower restriction lets the engine pump more air, and the computer cannot compensate completely for big changes to the exhaust.

If you get a new program for the engine, then the program can be made for a bigger exhaust, thus no loss of low end power.

No kidding? I didnt know that...but there arent any yet, and I say yet because I believe theres a petition to get one from SCT.

Yep, here it is:

Very good, I figured it might be new enough that there wasn't one yet.

So today I was taking more things apart/cleaning/etc and got my shipment of idividual LEDs in a couple days ago. I put them in my cupholders today, in the rear cupholders, and also changed out my message center button lights for a blue LED strip. It looks SO much better!

My cellphone camera really cuts down on the brightness and blue-ness, but you get the idea.

I like that, I need to start working on the blue lights. The 95-97 EATC has blue display, but I'm not sure if they have the exact same functions.

I mention it because my 98 EATC is not working exactly right, so instead of repairing the green display model, buying an older one to start with might be good.

Well I never had it in my 95' but the bulbs in this one had a green rubber boot on them, there's no actual film on the back of the lettering or anything. Rather than finding bulbs to fit in those stupid little sockets, I just used a blue LED strip and cut it to length.

I meant the EATC display, the AC controller. I need to have mine fixed, so starting with a 96/97 part would make it blue already.

Ah, I read that, dunno why I thought you meant the message center :dunno:

If I had manual controls, id totally grab a set from a 95-97 and get the SMD LEDs in there, and then it'd be blue.

*I think this is one of my coolest mods ever*

I had this digital Voltmeter hanging around, and I couldnt figure out a place to mount it, it wasnt quite 2", and it was pretty tacky looking. Didnt fit in my gauge pod either.

So I had an idea....

More details to come...

That's an interesting idea. The display behind the screen is about 75% the size of the screen, so placing a readout of something else is tough.

I want to figure out how to separate the display signal(output signal) from a popular aftermarket digital gauge. I want to add accurate displays for voltage, water temp, oil pressure, and fuel pressure. I want to cut tiny holes in the main four small gauges to add the displays.

If you know any very good electricians who like a challenge, let's do it. I bought one gauge to test with, it's a water temperature gauge I think.

Oh man thats a hell of a cool idea, I wonder though if they would fit without interfering with the gauges needles, and the circuitry on the back of the clusters face?

If you could pull that off, that would be amazing! I really like those stealth smoked LED gauges (Theyre just all black when theyre off, but once you turn the key on, they illuminate REALLY vivid and bright, some even can change colors and whatnot)

My thought is to get the output signals from the gauges, mount the gauges buried in the dash, and feed simple LED display segments at the instrument cluster. That's easily said, so modifying the gauges becomes the hard part. Then it'd be about finding the right display segments, a nice matching blue to the common gauges you can buy.

Yea that would be a really nice addition. I would totally try it, but I wouldnt even know where to begin on hooking up an extra tach or oil pressure gauge:(

I still dont know what to fill my 2nd pod with...any ideas? :dunno:

Just chiming in to say...

...thank you GOD for not saying "hella cool"

Workin on these today!

Ive wanted LED blinkers since I was a little tike :P: (Jk), but I finally bought some bulbs, and a few sets of the load equalizers. I had been thinking a while back, (With my headlights, it eliminates the upper blinker, which means there has to be some kind of load equilizer in there right? Im not sure, but I know 9 times out of 10 when my blinker goes on, its rapid flashing. The passenger side is 99% of the time, and the drivers side usually wont, unless its on for more than like 10 seconds if that makes any sense)

So I ordered 3 sets of equalizers, one set for my blinker bulb in the headlights, one set for the eliminated bulb, and a set for the Fiesta up front.

I got the drivers side all done, and NO MORE RAPID FLASH! I was really happy about that, BUT then it started raining cats and dogs so I had to call it quits.

The bulbs really make the whole reflector glow, which is what I was worried about, would they be bright enough, but they are plenty.

The angle of the picture makes them look not bright, but the half-assed sun was shining towards them, and that was only the parking lamps on.

(And the rain is also why my bumper still isnt done. It has honestly rained everyday for the last few weeks)

Been that way here too.

Been that way here too.

You know im one of those people who LOVE rain, but this is just too damn much. (I like thunderstorms and heavy rain, not partly cloudy and sprinkling 24/7)!

Specially when you have a list of stuff that needs to be done outdoors, its really starting to get on my nerves. Plus, since my post about my blinkers, its went from downpouring, to bright and sunny, back to heavy rain, to cloudy, to sprinkles, SUNNY, and now its dark and cloudy again.

First half: blinker only
Second half: parking lights on w/ blinker

Finally done! I had to redo the drivers side, the left Halo was blinking with the blinkers! :dunno: Couldnt find any shorted wires or anything, but I redid it all and it works great now:D

Came up a treat, great stuff:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

Thanks Lynchy!

I ordered these today:

Cant wait to get them in! I also ordered LED brake lights too, these ones are pretty cool, they have 3 "high power" leds facing the rear, and then like 22 facing sideways to shine in the housing.
