What is this part? Appears to be some part of the drivetrain. It is under the car, in the center, directly behind the oil drain plug.
Mine appears to have a black liquid on it, like a motor oil leak. However, my motor oil level isn't low or dropping.
I know there's a transmission around this area, also a PTU, possibly a turbo. This is a 2017 Limited 2.3L Ecoboost 4WD. There looks to be a drain plug right there facing downward. Car seems to drive just fine.
