I only had to air down one rear tire to get it out Once I hit 5 psi on the right rear, it juuuussssst made it out of the garage.

Lookin' really good- Dag, Jeff, you should go into business installing lift kits, lol  or at least become a consultant to Superlift to keep them from goofing up so many parts!

I think we need to get Karol some water and tree repellant and she'll be all good on the trail :D

Well I'll need the tree repellent

but nothing for the water....I'm gettin a snorkel!! Leave it to Jeff....he's got it all figured out!! lol

Karol

Nice truck/work. I just purchased the same lift. What i understand is you didnt have to get a new drive shaft for the rear, but you needed an new one for the front. How much was the one for the front and were should i get one from?

I got it from 4wheelparts wholesalers

but like I said on a previous thread.....don't just go to the website....call their mail order #..... they will give you a discounted price.... ask for the discount.... look it up on the website first and see how much they give you...

Dead Link Removed

I am waiting for 4wparts to send these other guys their lifts for that price....then I'm going to call up and ask why they never told me they were lowering the price of the lift shortly.... I ususally get what I want in situations like this... DO NOT BUY THE TORSION PULLER!! I'm sending mine back for my $$ back...

Karol

Rear Torsion Bar Attachment

I might have missed this in your thread, but is your rear torsion bar attachment point bolt (98+) on or welded? Does the kit address this? I have a 95.
Thanks
Rick

well I have a 96

so I have the same as you...

Karol

Rear Torsion Bar Mounting

That being the case, did you have to have the new parts welded on, or did they figure out a bolt on attachment?

That price is unbelievable! $420 for the kit? Including rear springs? That still leaves plenty of $$ for the driveshaft and skidplates.

Thanks for the great write up and pictures Jeff.

NO NO !!

The one on their website is ONLY for the front kit only!!!

Don't just order that ....because you won't get the rear springs with that.... they still say it's like $1100 for the lift as a whole when you call.....but like I said before....you can bargain with them especially if you are buying the driveshaft and other products...they will give all the discount that they can possibly give..... after adding everything up I paid approximately $950 for the lift......and the other stuff I paid regular price.... they actually gave me a discount on the total price...

Karol

btw.....not sure about the welded or unwelded part of your question..... when Jeff gets back from vacation ..perhaps he would answer this question...but I think he didn't have to weld ....
