Ford has released a new SYNC update this morning.

Ford released a new map update today. For me with a 2020 ST they are now charging for it. Guess I will either use the version I have or Google Maps. Pricing starts at $109.00 for 1 year and goes up from there.

Just got notice from Ford today. They are extending the warranty on the peeling window switches.

Just downloaded and updated to version 3.4.22251. Ford shows it is done for me. One of the easiest updates I've done.

The new map update was just released this morning. I just started downloading it. It will be a while before I know what version it is.

I was driving today and heard a new noise from the back. Had no idea what it was. Turns out the rear fan went to high on it's own. I did have a passenger in the rear which is rare for me. Has any one else had this happen or heard of it?

New safety recall for the fracturing bolts on the rear sub frame. It also stops the sale of all new Explorers for now.

If anyone is thinking about a K&N air filter Amazon has PN 33-2395 on sale with a cleaning kit for 19.38. Amazon says it doesn't fit but it is the correct PN according to the K&N website.

Has anyone had the issue that a person complained of an echo while your phone was connected with bluetooth? I had it happen recently and as soon as I disconnected from my Explorer it went away. I googled it and seen others have had the problem but didn't find where an body had resolved the issue.

Just seen an app today called SaferCar. It is from the NHTSA. It will notify you if there is a recall for your vehicle. Available for both Android and IOS. Not sure how well it works or useful it will be but the reviews were pretty good.

I received a message from Ford Pass this afternoon saying that my Explorer had received an update and needed to be restarted to complete it. Does anyone know what the update is? Attached is a screen shot of the software version.

Just noticed some trim that is coming loose on my Explorer. It's on the left side of the rear bumper. Will need to take it service next week to have it repaired.

Asking what grade of fuel your running and your highway mileage. Picking one up tomorrow and wondering if premium is worth the cost. Thanks
