how much is it to have a first Gen Ex painted?

not sure i have the key pad and some times my explorer would start if i got in and locked the doors with the key pad and without oppening the door start it up an some times it did nothing....... the reason i say to disconnect the negative battery cable for 15-20 seconds is because when you do...

dude lol when you have the problem try disconnecting the negative battery cable form the battery for about 15-20 seconds then hook it back up and see if it starts.. I have the same problem.... the anti-theft thinks some one is trying to take your truck so it kills just about everything...

In the rear fenders there were holes drilled before i got it and now the rust has gone all the way through parts on the rear fenders...... I was thinking about cutting a good piece off a junk yard ex. and welding an all that stuff..... Some one said clean it up and do it with bondo....I'm...

under the carpet is wood boards.. I could use them and i could get aluminum diamond plate.might even be lighter than the carpet and foam stuff back there....

could spray on bed liner, on the diamond plate :) I love steel

has anyone ever put diamond plate steel in where the carpet is and just take out the carpet? I'm thinking about just doing that....

I unscrewed the plastick molding by the door and pulled the carpet back some and there was a tone of water in there..I was thinking it might be whe hatch back door seal......i'll check the plug thing next time i'm i have the ex.right now it's at my inlaws place....because they needed it to drive...

yeah.......it's like there's a under carpet lake....right near the back hatch door......

I would like to see them on an explorer to deside for myself..anyone have any pictures of those flares on their explorer?

i'm getting water in the back of my explorer and it's under the carpet and making it mildue....sorry for the spelling ... I was told that it might be my seals....... is anyone else having this problem?

When you guys modify your Ex's do you pull the spair from the rear holder? I would have to assum so.......

Sweet!!! the only mod i'm getting into right now is going to be 31x10.5 MT's on 15x8 rockcrawlers..... but I have my grill-gaurd and all-weather lights from blazer....lol.... someday I hope to have 40's and detroit lockers, and all that cool sh-it....

PicoG4 I got mine used for 100.00, and didn't put the side pieces on........Maybe you can find one in a salvage yard and cut it and half, and trace the side pieces onto some diamond plate steel and by some steel tubing and weld it up yourself..........
