An Explorer worth checking out. Top notch fab work!

I met the owner of this rig at Truck Haven in November. I thought it was one of our white Explorers, but it turned out he was there with the jeepaholics website.

The fab work is top notch. Everything is beautifully TIG welded and well thought out. The owner found someone to do this work in their backyard... I sure wish I had those kind of skills.

oooooh that is pretty!!! cantilevered rear shocks, custom sway bar, did it have an interior cage? doesnt look to be so.

2wd? Look at the front axle...

its actaully a 4wd. there is a whole thread on desert rides about this truck... sweet for sure. that engine cage was a model for my new one. (said my fab guy) one of the best exploders ive seen.

are those 100% custom outers on those beams? they are still using stock style ball joints

No, they are just gusseted.

geesh look at the skid plates, look to be stainless steel with beveled edges....wow talk about attention to detail.

they kinda look like they are but, then i look at em long enough and then i believe they're not. i would like to know as well.
