01-02 sport trac rear differential?!?!

I have an 01 Sport Trac an the rear end is goin out. My question is...will a 02 model rear end work on my 01?

Yes. 03 is the first year ford put disc brakes on the rear end. I would convert to that if you could. Can't be too hard.

You must also check your axle tag to make sure you are putting the same gear ratio in if you are 4wd. You'll either be 3.73 or 4.10.
