I have a 2001 Explorer Sport.
The ABS Light is on, and it keeps blowing the Brake Pedal Position Fuse as soon as I touch the Brake Pedal. Also wont allow me to shift out of Park.
If I unplug the ABS Controller on the pump I can shift out of Park and it doesnt blow the fuse, the ABS light does remain on.
My ABS scanner says Error to Commumicate and cant read anything.
I have replaced the ABS Controller and Pump, Replaced the Brake Pedal Position Switch, all from another working Explorer.
I have checked all the fuses and are all good, I have checked all the brake light bulbs, all good.
I am getting power to the controller connector on the Red and Yellow Wires, and good Grounds on the 2 black wires.
HELP!!
