I have a 2001 Sport Trac with 109,000 miles. I have had few problems with this vehicle until now. The truck has been starting and running fine up to this Tuesday. I started and drove it 3 times and parked it in the driveway on Monday night. Tuesday Morning, I went to start it and it turns over very well but does not fire. I am thinking that it is a fuel delivery problem.
There were no issues leading up to this such as has been described by others with fuel pump failures. It started and ran fine one day and the next it didn't. It has a full tank of gas as I filled it on Monday morning.
I checked the fuel pump fuse and relay and both are intact.
If anyone has any recommendations, please respond. I would like to eliminate the easy stuff before having it towed away for the big stuff.
