02 Timing chain guid pieces in pickup and oil pan

Took off inspection oil pan and found parts, metal and plastic. Engine sounds better now with full oil pressure. . How long can I use the truck with a broken guide? The odometer is at 185k Thanks Craig

From reading the threads of others, if you are lucky enough (with the 4.0 SOHC engine) to have some kind of warning, then you should stop driving it until it's fixed. Or risk having to swap an engine in.
