I am replacing the seats in my '03 after 220K miles...got the new seats already. Removed the passenger seat already with no problem. Here is the problem, I cannot move the Driver seat far enough forward to get to the rear bolts. Is there anyway to move the seat farther forward, than what the motor allows it to go? Or do I have to use a boxed wrench to get in there :( ..The reason I ask is that the new seat I have is far enough forward for me to see the rear bolt holes and is a lot farther forward than mine will go.

TY for the reply...and the Diagram of the procedure. However, my question is and was, is there a way to get the driver seat to go any further forward that it actually is going? Because it does not move far enough forward for me to access the bolts. Or is there something wrong with my seat not going further forward?

Sounds like an issue with the slide mechanism or motor, should be similar to the passenger side.

Another reason I have an XLS base model, MUCH less stuff to break that I would NEVER use. LOL ;)
